Sue Barber

Sue heads up our accounts team and has done since 2-12, after first joing the business in 2000 as a multimodal forwarder! Sue loves dogs especially our resident 512 dog Nellie, and in her spare time, Sue loves nothing more than a little bit of interior designing and spends most weekends renovating her recently purchased bungalow.

Lesley Siddons

Lesley joined the company in 2021 and works alongside Sue in our accounts team after previously working in the legal sector. Lesley is kept on her toes as a mum but holds an ambition to move somewhere exotic with 2 dogs when she eventually retires.

Cory Bown

After starting as an apprentice, Cory has risen through the ranks at 512 and is now our operations manager. He loves a winter walk in the snow with his dog, before turning up the volume for his favourite song which is Jerusalem.

Dominik Smith

Dom heads up our courier team after starting as an operations graduate back in 2018 after leaving university. Outside of work, Dom spends his weekends following Tottenham Hotspur round the country as well as often attending live concerts. Once got picked for filming for 15 to 1 but unfortunately couldn’t attend. He loves to cruise and dreams to one day go on a Nordic and Baltic cruise to see the Northern Lights as well as cruise round Thailand and Singapore

Jodie Gaspar

A woman of many nicknames in the office, Jodie recently took up a prominent role in our sales and marketing team, so all our content is down to Jodie! Jodie loves travelling and dreams to go on a Safari, and even though she is always cold, strangely enough loves the crisp winter weather! She has a keen eye for detail which is shown by her MTV award she once won for making a music video only using clay!

Chanel Priestley

Chanel is our head of customs and brokerage and not a thing phases her when it comes to that area! She loves a cosy night in rather than a night out but that gives her chance to continue progressing in her true passion that is art and drawing, which is where her incredible eye for detail arises from.

Ben Blackman

Ben joined 512 in our graduate program but quickly learnt all there is to know about forwarding and now runs our Wakefield branch! A little know fact about Ben is that he dreamt of being a dancer and studied dance at school but after realising he had two left feet, he hung his ballet pumps up to become a forwarder. Ben has a passion for Grimsby town but also NFL and attends whenever league visits the UK. Outside of sport, Ben loves time with the family and when he gets 5 minutes away from them he loves gaming!

Amie Greensmith

Amie joined along with Danny as an apprentice, but quickly found her role alongside Dom, working on the fast paced courier department. She has grown and grown within 512, overcoming initial shyness and nerves to become one of the louder members of the team. 512’s very Mary Berry, Amie loves to bake and has dished up some incredible cakes and bakes that were devoured in quick time by the office. Amie also has a passion for Motown music and all things motorbikes, with her dream to compete in competitions at some point in the future.

Ian Barker

Ian joined the team as the Sales executive for our same day branch down in Nottingham. When he’s not down at Bramall Lane watching the Blades, Ian is a keen chess player and is captain of his local club. He also loves cycling and a top-class Chinese or Indian takeaway but never offer him a pizza!

Thomas Nolan

Our head of Groupage and road freight Tom loves travelling to weird and wonderful places, with Chernobyl being top of his list of strange places visited! He holds a season ticket at Sheffield Wednesday but when the Owls aren’t playing, Tom loves to DJ, mixing house and techno music on his weekends off

Danny Moyes

Danny has quickly progressed through his apprenticeship and now looks after all things air freight and imports. His main passion is cars and motor vehicles, which has given him a great advantage in his obsession to learn more and more about every mode of transport we can offer.

Josh Glossop

Josh is our youngest member of the team but you would never have guessed with the way he has fitted into the team and become a valued member of the team. Josh loves a quick deal and has been importing and selling his own items since he was 14! Aside of this, Josh loves a day fishing on the banks of South Yorkshire.

Flaby Varghese

With a wealth of experience working in Saudi Arabia, Flaby only relocated to the UK in 2021 but he has proved to be a fantastic asset as our head of Sea freight! Flaby loves cricket and travelling and admitted his main role in his work is to make shipping as stress free as possible for anyone he deals with.

Alice Baird

Alice is another member of our Doncaster team with who joined 512 with a very large transport background. Alice is a woman of many talents, enjoying a wide array of sports, including polo, squash and even a little bit of Surfing when the environment allows it!

Liam Bown

Liam is our business development manager so deals with all the offices within the 512 group of companies. After a few years down south gaining further experience and knowledge Liam came home to take the reins and the business has never looked back since. A keen summer cricketer, Liam spends most of his time either renovating his house or looking in the mirror, but the true love of Liam’s life is 512’s business DOGvelopment manager Nelly. The less said about his love of Chesterfield football club the better…

Catherine Gibson

Our Sales Manager is the one and only Cath (Gobby Gibby to those who know her) and with over 25 years experience in the freight industry, Cath is a huge asset to the team! Cath loves her miniature dachshunds Amos & Wilks but when she’s not with the dogs Cath loves a trip to the theatre.

Gareth Simmons

Gareth is back at 512 after a short spell away from the company and now heads up our Doncaster branch. When he is not at work Gareth’s passion is following Rotherham United and spending time with his young family (Nappies are his favourite pastime) Gareth also loves travelling and enjoys nothing more than sipping a nice rum on the shores of the Caribbean islands !

Chris Murphy

Chris is our most recent starter and has arrived at 512 to head up our Manchester branch, after well over 20 years in the industry and thrives upon building healthy bonds with every single one of his clients. Away from work, Chris loves MMA and rugby but his true passion is Manchester City, where he has finally started to revel in the success after years of pain watching City in the lower divisions struggling to even get a point!

Courtney Murphy

Courtney already had a wealth of experience behind her before joining our Doncaster branch which came as a huge advantage. She fitted into her role as a multimodal forwarder seamlessly as soon as she started and when she isn’t working Courtney loves to watch a good crime documentary with her 2 cats.

Nelly

Nelly Noo the Cockapoo is 512’s business dogvelopment manager. When she’s not working hard shredding paper you’ll usually find her next to Sue’s desk eating ham sandwiches. In her spare time she enjoys muddy walks in the Peak District, belly rubs and treats.

Jack works alongside Ben in our Wakefield branch and joined the team after graduating university with a degree in Business. Jack is another supporter of non-league football with Chesterfield being his team of choice but away from football, he loves spending time with his young nephews and walks on the beach.
